The Swiss National Vaccination Schedule is regularly updated by the Federal Commission for Vaccination (EKIF) in collaboration with the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH / BAG) and Swissmedic.

Vaccination recommendations aim for optimal protection of the population and every single individual. A vaccine is only officially recommended when the benefits of preventing disease vastly outweigh any associated potential risks.
